If there's something you really want to attempt, like a new art style, just go for it without a second thought. A second thought could contradict your first thought, and then a third thought might kick in and support the second thought, and so on 'til it gets to the point where you just don't want to attempt it anymore.
So, don't let it get to that, and just trust your first choice. Otherwise you might miss out on something great. I don't know.
Thinking things through logically is important, I know, but you get what I'm saying, right?
Just thought I'd put it out there. 'Cause second thoughts always get the best of me. I'm always just not doing things I want to because those second thoughts rather discourage the idea of it. I don't want anyone else to convince themselves not to do something they really want to, so that's pretty much the whole point of this journal.

I get what your saying (its true in other aspects of life and lessons learned) i always find myself going back to my first choice, in a lot of things and if i go against my gut instinct i end up regretting it later (then learn from that mistake and find the positives)
That's very true. If you keep getting pushed down because you're scared to try something new, then just remember practice makes perfect, and if it doesn't look right the first time, keep trying until it gets better.
