Meet my Original Characters!

Grace:   
Brief description:
Grace is friendly, but socially awkward. She has the power to make others act on their true feelings.  Being too young to 'turn off' that power gave her trust issues, since their appearances from a distance were deceiving.  But she discovered her power allowed her find those she can trust, such as her practical-father Gavin, Gadolinium, and Gadalik; the last of whom she developed a crush on even though she actively avoids him, since her power brings out his hidden vulnerability and she doesn't want to make him sad.  Grace is taking baby steps to come out of her shell regardless.  She loves plant-life and insects, particularly flowers and butterflies.  She often hurts herself trying complete tasks that are too difficult for her, but she never gives up.

Gadolinium:      
Description:
Gadolinium grew up isolated, so his social skills are...lacking, to put it lightly. He is very inconsiderate of how others feel, is horrible at reading situations and others' body language, he can't take a hint, and he acts on impulse most of the time. He's playful but his pranks and teasing are borderline bullying and nobody likes him for it, except for Gale when they were younger, who would also joke around with Gadolinium. The two dated until young adulthood when Gadolinium took things too far without knowing how to be apologetic, and Gale shunned him ever since.
After that he targeted Gradience, and he's done all he could to try to get her attention, despite how many times she has attacked him for it. When he doesn't get his way he refuses to give up, but he gets a bit passive-aggressive and takes it out on others in the form of low-key bullying.  His playful nature also can be considered as such.  He isn't aware that what he's doing is wrong, however, despite how the others call him out on his behavior.  Grace is the only one who can tolerate him, since her ability proves he doesn't have bad intentions.  Perhaps she could serve as a positive influence on him...or perhaps he's too oblivious to change.


Gretel:   
Brief description:
Gretel is a social butterfly, and she's especially skilled at flying.  Her wings can fold like a paper-fan to avoid tripping her, and she's able to walk on two legs if she desired.  Gretel can emit dangerously high-frequent sounds to disorient anyone who might threaten her or her friends, especially her best friend Gadalik.  She often times acts as his bodyguard to ensure nobody takes advantage of his kindness.  While Gretel is mostly friendly, she has no filter on her opinions, and doesn't usually think before she speaks; she tends to offend others, or start arguments with those she disagrees with--so she has petty grudges against a lot of others, especially Glacia and Gadolinium.  Even so, she still hangs around them because she'd rather be with her adversaries than be alone.  She is constantly on the move and looking for entertainment, but even if she finds it, she gets bored of it quickly and continues to look for more.  She can't stand being in one place for too long.  She's also kind of forgetful, and half of the time can't remember why she doesn't like someone, or why someone doesn't like her, if it's been a long time since their last interaction.

Victor is overly friendly and trusting, and he gets distracted easily.  His mother was a pet whom had ran away from her owner to be with Cirrus (Victor's father).  Six weeks after Victor was born, the human found them and brought the mother home, leaving Victor alone with Cirrus.  When Cirrus was killed by Breeze three weeks later, Victor wandered alone and stumbled upon Sleet's pack, which welcomed him in.  Things went sour quickly, however; Victor tried to leave the pack, only to have Hoarfrost slash his neck--scarring him--and tell him, "Stay or die."  With no choice in the matter, Victor remained with Sleet's pack until Thunder, Lily, and Magnolia arrived and fell into the same dilemma as Victor.  Together, they managed to escape.


Thunder:     
Brief description: 
Originally going to be alpha, he and his sister Lily were forced to flee when Shadow's followers attacked his pack.  He tries his best to be strong for his sister and new make-shift pack, though others may think he just doesn't care, or is being mean.  However, Magnolia sees his struggle.

Blue:   
Brief description:
Blue is half unicorn and half pegasus, but anatomically speaking he's the latter.  He's scared of disobedience.  He hesitates to break rules, even if doing so is necessary, despite that being something he's working on.  Blue is gentle and tries to be understanding, although his ignorance of certain issues can influence his overall decisions of things.  His unicorn friend Ocean Shade used magic to cut Blue's mane and create the ribbon he wears on his neck.  His cousin is Scarlet Note.


Scarlet Note:
Brief description:
Scarlet is half horse and pegasus, but is considered the latter.  She wonders a lot about why others hold grudges, and is more focused on moving to the future rather than the past or present.  She has a little bit of a bad habit of making a bigger deal out of littler situations, but is mostly positive and always looks for solutions.  Scarlet is rather carefree, and doesn't really understand the consequences of things she considers to be minor, thus oftentimes becomes frustrated when she gets in trouble.  Still, she does accept whatever punishment befalls her wrongdoings, even if she sulks about it.  She is Blue's cousin.

Mossy:     
Brief description:
Mossy is a friendly raccoon who hoards trash, food, twigs, shells, and other miscellaneous items so she can build things out of them, namely gifts for others, such as dolls, nests, and handy tools.  She's great at improvising, and quick to notice patterns or when something's unusual.  Mossy has good luck when she's by herself; she can find things without having to forage for them, can solve most problems with relative ease, and can make the best out of bad situations.  For example, if she wants to try out a material that is rare in her area, it might conveniently drift down the river to her.  Or if she's experimenting with a new material and it starts to rain, it'll turn out that the water actually strengthened the binding of it.  
 However, whenever she's around others, she gets extremely bad luck.  For example, if you say you want to try this rare berry, Mossy will easily find it with her lonely luck, only for a bird to swoop down and take it the second she hands it over to you.  Or if you ask for advice on how to finish building something, she'd recommend a material that worked for her, but it'll turn out to be incompatible with the materials you already have and ruins it.
 She tries not to blame herself for her horrible luck with others, but she still feels awful when she fails to help, even though her friends don't blame her when things go wrong.  While she often feels like isolating herself would benefit the world, her loneliness and determination to break the cycle of bad luck drives her to keep going.


Glacia:     
Description:
Glacia is a water dragon, capable of being on land albeit slower and can only glide, and she can hold her breath for up to 12 hours and store water in her body to later expel with pressure up to that of a firefighter's hose. She's nonchalant, mainly sticks to herself, can be very stubborn, and considers most others to be a bother...but she will stop to help someone if they can't help themselves, evidenced by her adoption of Gadalik when he was a hatchling.  If they can help themselves, but they ask her for help, she will most likely refuse to help them unless they mean a lot to her.
 She has a lot of dignity but a very low self-esteem, which she copes with by not thinking about.  It's hard to befriend her, and even her boyfriend Gale can find it hard to tolerate her sometimes, but she can be as nice as she is mean so it's worth it.  It takes a lot to push her over the edge, and if you somehow manage to do that, prepare to get a beating from her.


Gadalik:   
Brief description:
Gadalik is sweet and somewhat of a pushover, but he knows when enough is enough and when to stand against someone.  His wings are too small for him to fly with.  Climbing up to places his friends can fly to has built up great strength in his legs, however. He's mostly a pacifist, but if words don't work, Gadalik will resort to using his strength (at first to restrain; at middle to defend; at last to attack).  
   He was found and raised by Glacia at birth, he was somewhat adopted by Gale in his early teens, and he has made friends with Gretel and acquaintances with Grace.



Kyasarin:
Brief description:
Shy and nervous and childish despite her age. Usually keeps to herself, doesn't know how to react to most situations. Sometimes blurts out what's on her mind. Thinks often. Reacts immediately when it comes to something she feels strongly about.

Lily:    
Brief description:
She's impulsive, and although she's logical, she's too impatient to do more than scratch the surface of something, so oftentimes Lily needs someone like her brother Thunder to help her.  She's true to her feelings for the most part.  Sometimes that's a good thing, other times it's not. 

Canyon:
Brief description:
He's generally mild-tempered, tries to be helpful, always has to be doing something or he would feel guilty; friendly; brave; not very smart but learns fast.
