You know what? There are thousands of artists better than us, but they don't give a flippin fladoodle about other people, their demeanor s horrible, and some of them have fallen into idiocy, with symptoms such as diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the mind. And they are horrible spellers >>
You are so much better than those people it isn't even funny. But if you want to feel that your art has never been Jesus-jumped-out-of-a-Jeep awesomely fantastic, and isn't getting better; fine.
Last night I had a dream where I kept telling myself 'I'm going to stop drawing... I'll never be good. I'm going to give up drawing.' And in the dream it had to do with how someone was better then me. Well duh theres gonna be someone whos going to be better. Don't give up because many others are better then you. You'll get better the more you draw. Look how far you've come. How far you've been able to improve. Its not about being the 'best' in the world but the best in your eyes. Even if you find yourself jealous over someone elses drawing you just improve on your own work. Again... you are not alone.. Never give up! Stay Strong!
(How none of this is selfish in the slightest >.<'') (I hope this is helpful :T)
Every famous and talented artist started off as nothing. Great artists are people, just like you and me, who never gave up and who practiced and experimented constantly. Listen to different music, draw different things, go out on a limb and practice, dear. There's nothing stopping you from being the best, but if you quit now you will never, never know what potential you have.
Ability is nothing without opportunity. Opportunity is nothing without conviction. You may not be the best in the world but if you work hard and dauntlessly pursue your dream then you'll always edge out the people who are talented but lack the will that you posses. Chin up!
